I used this for about a week for a black eye and it seemed to be helping. After a week, I tried it on broken capillaries on my chest. I developed a rash and swelling on my chest. My skin under my eye then began swelling. I went to a dermatologist and he prescribed cortisone cream for the rash. He said sometimes it takes a week to have an allergic reaction to something. 4 days later the rash is started to clear up.

I researched the effectiveness of Vitamin K on such problems as Schamberg`s pupura/disease. I found this product at AskaDerm and read more. This space is limited so I`ll say this...I used this cream 5% Vitamin K purchased from AskADerm twice per day for two weeks as directed on the instructions. I stopped using it when my skin broke out in ulcers ... ulcers similar to those I have experienced several years ago past with this Schamberg`s pupura condition.

May this product works for some but it DO NOT for me. I am still healing from its use.
Pros: Easy to use. A little goes a long way. This is a good thing.
Cons: for me, the results were the OPPOSITE of what the product was proposed to yield, in theory.

Pros: positive results as indicated by dermatologist - availability via internet to re-order
Cons: couldn't find at retail outlets locally, but understand reasons - expense and smaller customer base in Alaska
